Mushrooms

The Mushroom Corals (Discosoma and Rhodactis) are one of the iconic corals found in most reef tanks. Their flat velvety discs come in vivid greens, blues, reds, purples, and metallic patterns with glowing centers or delicate tentacles. 

They thrive in low to moderate light and gentle flow. They are extremely hardy in comparison to some other species which make them ideal for beginner hobbyist starting their first reef tank.
